Introduction
The Joblogic system enables users to import required data such as Customers, Sites and Assets, using the import templates within the Joblogic back office system. This user manual details a step-by-step breakdown of how to import the data of Customers, Sites and Assets for convenient use of the system by back-office users and field engineers.
Customer Import
The Customer Import feature allows a user to import customer information such as Customer Name, Contact Number, Address, Email, Contact Person and more, using the Customer Import Template.
To try this, click the ‘Customers’ dropdown menu from the left navigation pane, and select ‘All Customers’. You will be directed to the main page where a full list of all the customers and their details such as Name, Account Number, Address, Postcode and more, can be viewed.

Within the ‘All Customers’ page, click the ‘Import’ button in the top right corner of the page, and you will be presented with an Import Customer(s) pop-up window, with options to ‘Download Template’ and ‘Upload Template’.
You also have the option to ‘Auto generate a Site for each Customer’, if the Customer’s address is also considered as a Site where jobs will be conducted.

Upon downloading the template, open it using MS Excel (suggested) or any other editor to populate customer information. Please start filling in the details from the third row of the template, and ensure that any mandatory fields that are marked as 'Required' are filled in.

Upon populating customer's information, save the file to your local drive/machine, and navigate back to the ‘Import Customers’ pop-up window.
Then click the ‘Upload Template’ button, and choose the file that was saved to the local drive/machine for upload. Now click the ‘Request Import’ button to proceed with the import, and click ‘OK’ on the confirmation pop-up window.

Once the import process is complete, the system automatically notifies you via the ‘Notification Bell’ and the new customer can be viewed in the ‘All Customers’ page.

Site Import
Similar to the Customers Import feature, the Joblogic system also has a ‘Sites Import’ feature, that enables users to import multiple sites under a customer account, when customers have more than one site for jobs to be conducted on.
To try this, navigate to the main ‘Details’ page of a customer, by clicking the name of a specific customer from the ‘All Customers’ page.

With the main Details page, click the ‘Sites’ tab at the top, and you will be directed to a page with the customer’s current sites (if any) list.
In order to import sites that are relevant to this specific customer, click the ‘Import Sites’ button at the top of the page, and you will be presented with an ‘Import Site(s)’ pop-up window, with options to ‘Download Template’ and ‘Upload Template’.

Upon downloading the template, open it using MS Excel (suggested) or any other editor to populate sites information. Please follow the instruction on each column of the spreadsheet when filling in the details, and ensure that any mandatory fields that are marked as 'Required' are filled in.
Note - The existing sites created under the customer will be auto-populated on the import template to avoid duplication, and you can start adding new sites information from the next available row in the spreadsheet.

Upon populating the template, save the file to your local drive/machine, and navigate back to the ‘Import Site(s)’ pop-up window.
Then click the ‘Upload Template’ button, and choose the file that was saved to the local drive/machine for upload. Now click the ‘Request Import’ button to proceed with the import, and click ‘OK’ on the confirmation pop-up window.

Once the import process is complete, the system automatically notifies you via the ‘Notification Bell’ icon.
The new sites can be viewed by clicking the Sites tab within the Details page of the customer OR via the ‘All Sites’ section under the ‘Sites’ dropdown menu within the left navigation pane.

Asset Import
Joblogic’s ‘Asset Import’ feature enables the user to import the details of Assets that are stored and maintained at specific sites. These are also called as Site Assets.
In order to import asset information, navigate to the main ‘Details’ page of a site, by clicking the name of a specific site from the ‘All Sites’ page.

With the main ‘Details’ page, click the ‘Assets’ tab at the top, and you will be directed to a page with the current list of Assets (if any) under this site.
In order to import assets that are relevant to this specific site, click the ‘Import Assets’ button at the top of the page, and you will be presented with an ‘Import Asset(s)’ pop-up window, with options to ‘Download Template’ and ‘Upload Template’.

Upon downloading the template, open it using MS Excel (suggested) or any other editor to populate assets information. Please follow the instruction on each column of the spreadsheet when filling in the details, and ensure that any mandatory fields that are marked as 'Required' are filled in.

Upon populating the template, save the file to your local drive/machine, and navigate back to the ‘Import Asset(s)’ pop-up window.

The new assets can be viewed by clicking the ‘Assets’ tab within the Details page of the Site OR via the ‘All Assets’ section under the ‘Assets’ dropdown menu, within the left navigation pane.

If you wish to Edit the details of an individual Asset, you can do so by clicking the orange pencil icon found at the end of the Asset row.
