Release Details
1. Service Type Filter on Job Assets
- We’ve made it easier to find the right service types when adding or editing job assets in Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
- You’ll now see a new ‘Show All Service Types’ checkbox next to the Service Type dropdown on the Add/Edit Job Assets screen.
✅ When the checkbox is ticked, you’ll see all service types — with those linked to the selected Asset Class and unassigned (open) ones shown in bold to help you spot them easily.
🟩 When the checkbox is unticked, the list will only show service types related to the selected Asset Class or open ones. - Plus, when you pick a service type, its Asset Class will automatically appear above — saving you time and clicks.
- This update gives you greater flexibility when managing PPM visit setups and makes it quicker to assign the right services.

2. Improved Note Permissions for Engineers
- To give you clearer control over what engineers can do with notes in the Mobile App, we’ve made some important improvements to how note permissions are managed.
✅ Moved Note Permissions to Back Office (BO)
- First up, we’ve moved the permission that controls whether engineers can view site notes into the Back Office settings. (Settings > System Set up)
- New permission: Site – View Note
✅ Updated Permission Titles for Mobile Notes
- We’ve renamed some of the mobile note permissions in Settings > Staff to make their purpose clearer and easier to manage:
- Customer – Edit Public Note ➡️ Customer – Edit BO Public Attachments
- Site – Edit Public Notes ➡️ Site – Edit BO Public Attachments
- These new titles better reflect what the permissions actually control — helping you manage engineer access with more confidence and less guesswork.
3. Optional Response Time on Priorities
- You now have the flexibility to leave the Response Time field blank when creating or editing a priority.
- Simply tick the 'Do Not Consider Response Time' when adding or updating your priority settings.
- This update supports workflows where Completion Time is the key metric, giving you a more tailored and flexible approach to job prioritisation.

4. Multi-Section Quote Templates
- We’ve made quoting even easier! You can now create and use Multi-Section Quote Templates, allowing you to save time and maintain consistency when logging complex quotes.
- Whether you're building quotes with multiple breakdowns or detailed sections, this new feature helps you do it faster and more efficiently—all from the Quote Template screen.
- Navigate to Settings > Library > Quote Templates to take a look!
- Click here to read more on Quote Templates.
5. Contract Priority Cascade to Jobs
- We’ve enhanced how priorities are applied to Jobs and Quotes when working with contracts.
- Now, when a Priority is set at the contract level, the system will use that instead of the customer’s general settings.
- Here's what else is new:
- If a Group Priority is defined on the contract, only those priorities will be available when creating or editing Jobs, Quotes, or upgrading Quotes.
- When both Group Priority and Work Type are set, the system uses the Group Priority and Default Priority from the main contract.
- If Work Type Priorities are defined and a Job Category is selected, the system will pull the priority from Contract > Work Type Priority. If no Job Category is selected, it will default to the main contract’s priority settings.
- This update ensures more accurate and contract-specific job prioritisation across your workflow.

6. Real-Time Subcontractor Job Updates & Engineer Tracking
- We’ve introduced powerful new features to help service delivery teams stay on top of subcontractor jobs and engineer activity — all in real time.
🔍 View Subcontractor Job & Visit Status at a Glance
- You can now see exactly what’s happening with subcontractor jobs without needing to chase updates. In the Subcontractor Visit Details screen, you’ll see two new status columns:
- Job Status – The latest status of the subcontractor’s job
- Visit Status – The current status of the engineer’s visit
- If multiple visits exist, hover over the Visit Status icon to see all statuses at once.
- You’ll also find a new Sub. Job Status filter on the All Jobs screen to help you quickly find jobs by their subcontractor status.
- A new column here also shows each subcontractor’s job status. Again, if multiple exist, you can hover over the status to see more details (including subcontractor name).
📍 Live Tracking of Subcontractor Engineers
- We’ve added a Live Tracking tab to the Subcontractor Visit Details page, so you can now see where subcontractor engineers are in real time (The coordinates shall be fetched based on GPS).
- Hover over a pin to view key details, such as Site address, Job Description and more.
- These updates gives your team full visibility of subcontracted work — from status to engineer location — helping you deliver faster, more informed service.
7. Search Bar on PPM Schedule View
- There is now a handy search bar on your PPM schedule page ( PPM > All PPM Contracts > select contract > Schedule tab)
- You can search by Description, Location, SFG-20 Code, Asset Number, Assets & Tasks 🔍
- This will help you quickly locate specific visits, assets, or tasks, saving time and making it easier to manage large or complex schedules.
- Click here to read more on PPM Schedules.
8. AXA Job Outcomes & Action Automation
- And finally, one for our AXA users - We’ve made improvements to the way you complete AXA jobs in Joblogic, helping you capture more accurate outcomes and reduce manual input when AXA notifications are needed.
- ✅ New Outcome Fields When Completing AXA Jobs
- When completing an AXA job, you’ll now see three new dropdowns:
- Job Outcome – Select the overall result of the visit
- Action Required – Specify what follow-up action (if any) is needed
- Action Details – Add more detail to support the action selected
- These dropdowns are tailored to the trade of the job you're completing, and your selections will automatically trigger the correct AXA notifications – no need to send these manually.
✅ New Question: “Is the home emergency resolved?”
- To improve data capture, a new yes/no question has been added:
- “Is the home emergency resolved?”
- This helps ensure AXA receive a clear picture of the situation and supports better reporting.
✅ Smarter Handling of the AXA Action Required Option
- To reduce manual errors, the “AXA Action Required” option is now automatically set to “Yes” if any of the following apply:
- Is the home emergency resolved? = No
- Action Required = Trace & Access
- Job Outcome = No fix delivered
- In these cases, the option cannot be changed. If none apply, the radio button will behave as it did before, allowing manual selection.
Bug Fixes
🛠️ We’ve been working behind the scenes to make things smoother and fix a few issues you may have come across:
- Syncing customers now works as expected – the system won’t try to create duplicates anymore.
- You can now view General Forms with dynamic rows and survey questions on the mobile app after they’ve been submitted.
- When importing sites, the Site Type will now show correctly every time.
- Batch deploying PPMs is now working – no more "no visits" messages when jobs are actually there.
- If you update the account number on a PPM invoice, it now saves properly and shows the correct value when you go back to edit it.
- The ‘Import Sites’ template now includes primary contacts and shows the right information about whether they’re added to jobs.
- The quote price section now correctly shows the selling rate for callout fees.
- The Batch Delete option on PPM Contracts will now respect all your filters, helping you avoid deleting the wrong contracts.
- The delivery address now shows correctly on supplier purchase orders created from jobs.
Improvements
Sage 50 update!
- We’re now fully compatible with Sage 50 (v32) 💰
- You can now connect your Sage 50 v32 account with Joblogic. As part of this update, customer details can sync both ways between Joblogic and Sage 50 – saving you time and keeping everything up to date automatically.
