Release Details
1. PPM Schedules – Individual Asset Lines 🔧
Let's start off with some improvements to assets and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) Schedules
Managing assets within PPM Contracts is now even clearer.
Previously, multiple assets with the same description and location were condensed into a single line within a PPM Schedule
This handy new update helps ensure that each asset is displayed as an individual entry, improving visibility and record-keeping. 📅
Key Changes Include:
Each asset, even if identical in name, is now displayed in separate rows.
Users can differentiate between similar assets more easily during scheduling.
The PPM Contract > Schedule tab now accurately reflects each asset’s inclusion.
This simple yet effective enhancement ensures full transparency and precision when managing scheduled maintenance work.

2. Pay Bands at Site Level 💷
Next up we have a useful change for those of you who use pay bands
To provide more flexibility in billing, we have introduced Site-Level Pay Bands 📍
This small but powerful update allows users to define and apply pay bands at the site level, ensuring accurate pricing based on site-specific agreements.
New Features Include:
A "Pay Bands" section has been added within Site Configurations.
Users can toggle this section on/off as needed.
Pay Bands now follow a defined priority hierarchy:
🏗️Contract Layer > 📍Site > 👥Customer >👷 Engineer > ⚙️System
The feature functions just like pay bands at other levels. By implementing it at the site level, service teams can maintain precise cost structures tailored to individual sites, improving invoicing accuracy and making site level costing just easier all round.

3. Stock Adjustment Details – Print 🖨️
If you manage stock, this update is for you!
Stock management is now even more streamlined with the introduction of a new print functionality for Stock Adjustments.
This useful new feature helps users to generate and print detailed stock adjustment records directly from the system.
Key Features Include:
A new Print button added to the Stock Adjustment Details page.
Users can generate a formatted document with key adjustment details.
Printed documents include:
🔢Adjustment Reference Number
👤Created By Details
📝Stock Adjustment Notes
📅Date of Adjustment
📦Breakdown of Adjusted Items (Description, Rack/Shelf, Item Number, Quantity, etc.)
This one ensures that stock adjustments are not only more easily documented but can be shared just as easily when required.
For more on managing stock effectively, see our detailed guides here.
4. Custom Fields Included in Job Searches 🔍
Finally, we have a good one linked to Custom Fields and Job Searches
Finding the right job just got even easier!
The wildcard search (free type/general search box) within the All Jobs screen now includes searchability for custom fields enabling users to quickly locate jobs using additional criteria beyond the standard fields.
This new search update allows users to locate jobs more efficiently, improving workflow speed, data retrieval accuracy and your day to day work in general.

Improvements 🎯
At Joblogic, we’re committed to refining your experience with every update and this release is no different, bringing a series of usability enhancements designed to optimise workflows, prevent errors, and improve efficiency across the system. Please see our great new updates for this month below:
Exclude Cancelled Visits from the Batch Move Screen
We’ve made batch-moving visits smarter in the Planner!
Previously, cancelled visits could still be allocated to the Target Engineer when using the Batch Move Screen.
To prevent this, we’ve introduced an option to exclude cancelled visits when selecting the Source Engineer.
This ensures only active visits are transferred when needed, making batch moves more reliable and reducing unnecessary rework.
Stock Adjustments and Parts Search
We’ve improved visibility when searching for parts during Stock Adjustments.
The Part Description field has been extended within the Stock Adjustment screen, making it easier to read full descriptions when selecting parts.
No more cut-off text – just clear, accessible information when managing stock.
Schedule of Rates – Chargeability Enhancements
We’ve fine-tuned the Schedule of Rates (SOR) feature to ensure chargeability settings function as expected. Two key improvements have been made:
SOR Toggle Behaviour: Previously, turning off the SOR toggle in the Job Cost section marked all SOR items as chargeable. Now, the toggle only affects other cost items, leaving SOR chargeability unchanged.
Chargeable Status on Completion: When an engineer adds an SOR item as Required, its status now automatically updates to Chargeable when marked as Complete in the back office helping to ensure accurate invoicing and cost tracking.
Equipment Number Display When Adding Stock
We’ve enhanced equipment selection when adding stock records.
Previously, only the Equipment Description was displayed in the item dropdown, making it difficult to distinguish between similar items.
Now, both the Equipment Number and Equipment Description will be shown, ensuring users can easily identify the correct equipment before adding it to stock.
These refinements are designed to make your day-to-day work smoother, reducing errors and improving clarity across key workflows. Let us know if you have any feedback – we’re always looking to make Joblogic even better for you!
Bug Fixes🛠️
At Joblogic, we’re committed to keeping things running smoothly so are always quick to get any pesky bugs fixed 🐞 Here are the latest issues that have been resolved in this release:
Default forms missing in PPM visits – Engineers were unable to access default forms when completing PPM visits. This has now been resolved, ensuring all required forms are available as expected.
Incorrect exports in the Quote module – The export function in the Quote module was returning incorrect results for the 'Accepted' and 'All' tabs while failing to export data for other tabs. This issue occurred when the Contract layer was enabled and quotes were linked to a contract. The export function now works correctly across all tabs.
Subcontractor PO export timing out – Users experienced timeouts when attempting to export subcontractor purchase orders. This issue has been fixed, and exports now complete successfully.
Customers with names starting with 'H&' not appearing in batch invoice dropdown – Users were unable to search for and select customers whose names started with 'H&' in the batch invoicing dropdown. Similar names with special characters (e.g., 'A&B') were appearing correctly. This has now been corrected, and affected customers can be found as expected.
PPM contract filter issue – The PPM contract filter was not functioning correctly when multiple filters were applied, displaying all PPMs instead of refining the results. This has now been fixed so that selected filters work as intended.
Planner not refreshing after visit moves – When visits were moved in the Planner, the changes did not immediately reflect unless the user manually refreshed the screen. This has been resolved, and the Planner now updates automatically after visits are moved.
Discrepancy in PPM schedule colours on export – Exported PPM schedules were displaying inconsistent colours compared to the in-system view. This issue has been addressed so that the exported schedules now match the display.
PPM visit import file failing to download in staging accounts – Users encountered an "Oh no" error when attempting to download the import file for creating PPM visits. This has been resolved, and the file now downloads correctly.
We appreciate your patience while we worked on these fixes. If you come across any further issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team. Your feedback helps us keep Joblogic at its best! 🔔
