1. Permission improvements
- We’ve introduced new Profile and Staff permissions to give you greater control over user access and editing capabilities.
- The following permissions are now available:
- Profile - View
- Profile - Edit
- Profile - Advanced Edit
- Staff - View
- Staff - Edit
- Staff - Advanced Edit
- These new permission levels allow you to better control who can view information, make basic updates, or manage advanced configuration settings, helping improve security and reduce the risk of unwanted changes.
- Permissions can be edited in the Settings > Staff area.

2. Job sheets with completed tasks only
- Next up, your Job sheets can now display completed tasks only if required, helping create cleaner and more professional customer documentation.
- New Job Sheet document tags have been added for completed tasks only:
- @@Task_Name_CompleteOnly@@
- @@Task_Summary_CompleteOnly@@
- @@Task_SubTask_CompleteOnly@@
- @@Task_Status_CompleteOnly@@
- In-progress and not-started tasks are automatically excluded from your Job sheets.

3. Equipment hire improvements
We’ve made several improvements and important fixes to the Equipment Hire app to improve stability and overall usability.
Cross-hire and purchasing stability
- Several improvements have been made to Cross-Hire and purchasing workflows.
- Resolved issues preventing Hire Purchase Invoice creation when GRNs exist
- Corrected display issues within GRN and Hire PO item grids
- Removed unnecessary UI elements, including duplicate notes and unused tabs
- Improved overall UI alignment and layout when adding Hire Purchase Orders
Multi-currency accuracy
- Currency conversion values now display correctly across:
- Hire Contracts
- Hire Quotes
- Hire Invoices
- This ensures financial values remain consistent with configured exchange rates.
Hire duration consistency
- Hire Item durations now correctly inherit Start and End dates from the Hire Contract.
- This prevents incorrect default end dates when contracts are open-ended.
Depreciation controls and validation
- Depreciation settings have been improved with enhanced visibility and validation controls.
- Depreciation data now respects user permissions correctly
- Fields hide immediately when depreciation is disabled
- Validation prevents invalid depreciation values, such as negative residual values
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue where Service Type tasks appeared in Back Office but were missing from mobile app visits. Engineers can now view and complete all relevant tasks on site.
- Fixed an issue where task lists were not displaying correctly in certain job configurations.
- Asset Serial Number, Asset Number, Location, and Reference fields now sync correctly to the Subcontractor Portal when allocating jobs.
- Fixed an issue affecting subcontractor job notes to ensure notes now sync reliably between contractor and subcontractor accounts.
- Resolved an issue where quoted values remained visible on a CGroup Invoice after invoice creation. The field now clears correctly once the invoice is created.
- Fixed a server error affecting the DELETE selling-rate-link API endpoint. The endpoint now returns the correct success response.
- The Hire Assets import button is now hidden where not required.
