We’re kicking off the year with a couple of exciting updates, read on to find out more!

1. Project milestone improvement

First up, we’ve made a few improvements to the Project Module to make project setup and management smoother.

  • Milestone Ordering

You can now drag and reorder jobs within a milestone without them shifting unexpectedly. This ensures your milestone job lists stay in the exact order you set, making projects easier to manage and track.

  • Milestones Library

We’ve introduced a new Milestones Library, allowing you to save and reuse common milestone templates across projects. Less repetitive setup, more consistency 👍

  • Flexible Billing Options

You can now choose monthly billing or milestone-based billing for fixed-price projects, giving you more flexibility in how and when you invoice.

2. Hire contracts enhancement

We’ve expanded Hire functionality to improve asset, equipment, and parts management.

  • Parts can now be hired directly within Hire Quotes and Hire Contracts.
  • A new Hire Details section has been added for Parts in both the Parts Library and Stock Records.
  • Improved Add Hire Item experience for Assets and Equipment, including richer search and auto-filled pricing and tax.
  • Enhanced Hire Asset management, with suspend/reactivate options, inactive toggles, and a full audit trail.
  • Hire Equipment stock tracking now includes On Hire visibility, so you can see what’s in use at a glance.

3. Refrigerant allocation on GRN

  • We’ve fixed an issue that could cause incorrect rack and shelf values for gas items when creating a Goods Received Note (GRN). 🛠️
  • The system will now correctly use the stock location from the current Purchase Order, ensuring rack and shelf values are accurate, even when a line item doesn’t have one assigned.

4. Reporting & dashboard updates

  • To make onboarding even easier, Reports & Dashboards are now enabled by default for FSM and FSM+ products.
  • This means:
    • No manual Marketplace setup required
    • Faster setup for new customers
    • Clear visibility of workflows and performance from day one
  • Existing FSM customers who haven’t enabled the Marketplace app yet can continue to do so as normal.

5. Scheduler side panel update

  • Service jobs now appear in the Scheduler side panel, so you can see and manage all jobs in one place.
  • Take a look in Planner > Job side panel or Planner > Filter > Settings.

Bug fixes

As always, we’ve also included a range of fixes focused on stability, accuracy, and day-to-day usability.

  • Fixed an issue where the primary user could change their own permissions
  • Prevented multiple clicks on the Approve button during quote approval
  • Resolved an issue with contracts being created for active tenants in BAU mode
  • Duplicate jobs will no longer be created when clicking Save multiple times
  • Fixed quote printing where item order didn’t always match on-screen
  • Job Type filters now save correctly when using Quick Filters on Subcontractor POs
  • The Renew button is now hidden for contracts that have already been renewed
  • Voice note attachments can now be sent successfully in chat
  • Due dates can now be saved when creating to-dos from job details
  • Fixed delivery Purchase Order issues when GRNs are enabled
  • Invoiced jobs no longer appear in the Grouped Invoice list
  • Missing parts in PPM export files have been resolved
  • Jobs on Customer Grouped Invoices now correctly update to Invoiced
  • Customers can now be searched in the RAMS dropdown
  • PPM visit dates now display correctly after contract renewals
  • Selected fields now appear correctly in email bodies
  • Users without permission can no longer create tags in job notes
  • Duplicate order number warnings no longer appear when editing jobs
  • SPO Estimated Completion Date sorting issue resolved
  • Prevented approving the same invoice in multiple tabs
  • AXA Chat Reports now consistently show the latest messages
  • Fixed an issue where selling rates were missing descriptions and couldn’t be edited
