Release Details

1. Project Management

Mark a Project Job as a Variance Job (Time & Material Projects)

  • We’ve enhanced Project Management for Time & Material projects with new tools to handle job variations more efficiently.
  • You can now mark a Project Job as a Variance Job directly within the Job Detail view, giving you clearer control over project scope changes.
  • A new Project Variance Tab has also been introduced on the Project Detail screen, allowing you to view and manage all Variance Jobs in one place.
  • These improvements streamline your workflow, improve visibility, and make it easier to track every project variation from start to finish.

Use Job Templates within Project Jobs

  • You can now use Job Templates within Project Jobs, bringing greater consistency and efficiency to your project workflows.
  • This enhancement allows you to create and apply job templates directly inside projects, helping standardise task setup and reduce repetitive data entry.
  • By extending Job Templates to Project Jobs, you’ll save time, maintain uniform job structures, and ensure smoother project management across your teams.

Edit Draft Invoice Dates and Values in Projects

  • We’ve improved the Draft Invoice process in Projects to give you more flexibility.
  • You can now change the Date Raised or adjust invoice values after saving a draft, making it easier to correct details without having to recreate the invoice.
  • This small but powerful update reduces admin effort and improves billing accuracy before final submission.

Record and View Committed Costs in Project Details

  • A new Committed Costs section has been added to the Project Detail view, allowing you to record and monitor costs that have been allocated but not yet invoiced.
  • This gives you better visibility of both actual and committed expenses, helping you manage budgets more effectively and maintain accurate project financials.

3. Create Jobs from Templates or Recent Jobs (via Asset Details)

  • We’ve made it easier to create new jobs directly from Asset Details.
  • You can now log a job using a predefined Template or by referencing a Recent Job, helping engineers and back-office staff save time and ensure consistent job setups.
  • This enhancement speeds up job creation, reduces repetitive entry, and makes it easier to maintain consistency across similar assets.

Further Improvements

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the Joblogic platform, this release also includes several additional updates and fixes to improve usability and system reliability.

Service Job – Letters Date
A new Letters Date feature has been added to Service Jobs, allowing users to track and manage letter-related dates for better organisation and scheduling accuracy.

AI-Powered Customer Portal Dashboard
The AI-Powered Customer Portal Dashboard is now visible under the Dashboards tab without requiring the “Refcom - View Refcom” permission.
Staff can now access the dashboard directly, simplifying navigation and access.

Invoice Processing
We’ve identified an issue affecting invoice processing against purchase orders. Our team is actively working on resolving this to ensure smoother and more consistent performance for all users.

Invoice Totals
We’ve corrected an issue where invoice templates for certain customers weren’t displaying the correct job amounts. Totals now correctly match the amounts on related jobs and quotes, ensuring accuracy in SOR Invoice Totals and discounts.

Document Templates
Fixed an issue where templates containing the “&” symbol were not appearing in dropdown lists. All templates are now fully accessible when printing from Job Detail.

Job Creation
Resolved a bug that caused duplicate jobs to be created when saving edits in the Planner. Job edits now save correctly without duplication.

Sub Job Status Filter
We’ve fixed multiple issues with subcontractor status filtering in the “All Jobs” view — including incorrect job counts and filter errors. Filters now behave consistently.

Nominal Code Display
Fixed an issue where nominal codes weren’t displaying correctly on invoice line items. They now appear instantly without needing to refresh or reselect options.

QR Image Download
Users can now download or print QR images directly from the Asset Tracker Task without issue.

Missing Jobs in Planner
Resolved an issue where the first row of jobs wasn’t appearing in the Planner until the month view was toggled. All jobs now load correctly on first view.

Primary User Permissions (Mobile)
We’ve made further updates to Primary User permissions to enhance their mobile experience and ensure consistent access across both web and app environments

Bug fixes 🐞🛠️

This release includes a range of behind-the-scenes fixes aimed at keeping things running smoothly. From improved data handling to cleaner planner views and Sage integration fixes, these updates help reduce friction in your daily workflows.

  • Cancelled PPM Contracts now display with a red “Cancelled” label in linked customer contracts
  • Missing job forms on PPM Jobs for VIP customers have been restored
  • You can now search new jobs by Description or Job ID on the web platform
  • Users can delete cost lines for additions in the Deduction section of Time & Material jobs
  • Sage 50 integration fixes for Fuel Storage Solutions — invoice and PO mappings are now consistent, with enforced address character limits
  • “Other Reason” text box entries for incomplete tasks now display correctly in Back Office
  • Pending Activation engineers removed from Planner filters
  • Main job status now updates correctly to Completed when transferred back from Subcontractor, ignoring rejected or cancelled states
  • “Refrigerant Type” now displays correctly on Equipment Details
  • “Quoted Sell” value in SOR Cost Line now shows “Item Library Sell Value” for consistency
