Introduction
Joblogic's "Log Job from Recent Job" function enables users to quickly create jobs by reusing/copying details from previously completed or logged jobs. This user guide will detail how to log a related job from a recent job.
For more information and details on logging a singular job via a recent job see here.
Log a Related Job using Recent Job
To Log a Related Job using Recent Job, open the main screen of the initial job. Then click the ‘Log Related Work’ drop down and select the ‘Log Related Job’ option.
Upon activation, a dropdown menu will appear, displaying the 10 most recent Jobs.
If the job that you wish to replicate is not immediately visible in the dropdown, you can search other jobs to use by entering specific identifiers such as Job description, Job number, reference number etc.
Select a recent job to use and then review and edit any details as necessary to tailor the new Job to the specific requirements.
Adjust any specific details as needed i.e. Carry Forward Asset and Carry Forward Attachments/Notes and select “Save” to complete the Job Creation process.
