  • PDF

Article summary

Features scheduled for release from 11/03/24 via a staged roll out. This means that changes may not take effect on the mobile application (app) straight away but the latest version including the new changes can be manually downloaded from the App/Play store (Version 1.153.0 on both IOS and Android), if required. The functionality detailed will not be available in any version of the app until this date. However, please note that this an ETA and may be subject to change.

Introduction

  • In this week’s release we have updated the UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) for the My Documents, Company documents and Mobile Forms areas of the app, making them more clear, easier to use and that little bit nicer on the eye

  • None of the functionality has changed, things just look better, have more detail and are simpler to use

Release Topics

  1. My Documents and Notes

  2. Company Documents

  3. Mobile Forms

Release Details:

1. My Documents and Notes

  • The previous ‘My Documents’ area has been renamed as ‘My Documents & Notes’ and has been given a new and improved look
  • The Notes area also looks better and now shows notes both with and without attachments

  • It also shows more detail such as whether the users accessible notes are marked as public or private

2. Company Documents

  • Company documents are now laid out more clearly in line with the rest of the app’s changes and are also rockin’ the new look

3. Mobile Forms

  • The new look has been applied to the Mobile Forms area too, keeping your engineer’s electronic forms slick, smooth and straightforward. Just as mobile forms should be
  • A better look combined with a better way of working when it comes to documents, notes and electronic forms, what's not to love

  • For more information on the mobile app and how to use it in general, see here for our useful user guides on this and much more

Improvements and Bug Fixes

  • We think that these great new user interface and experience changes are a big enough improvement for now, so we don’t have any more for you this week. We are also happy to share that there weren't any bothersome bugs to take care of either.
