Release Details:
1. Quick Complete – Asset & Service Type Tasks
First up, we’re making it even faster for engineers to complete jobs on the go with our new Quick Complete feature
This feature has been applied to Asset & Service Type Tasks as well as other areas of the system
With regards to assets and service type tasks, engineers can now mark these as complete all in one place, with just a few taps without needing to go through the usual additional steps of providing info for multiple extra fields
This speeds up job completion for engineers who regularly complete asset-related work in bulk
Designed for efficiency this great new tool allows engineers to get jobs signed off faster while maintaining accuracy
For more details on assets and service types, check out our support guide here
2. Quick Complete – Attachments, Expenses, Parts & Mandatory Notes
Following on from the above, we’ve expanded Quick Complete to cover even more job details including Attachments, Expenses, Parts and Mandatory Notes
This means that engineers can now complete and record these essential job details more efficiently before finalising a visit
Efficiency just got an upgrade, give it a try today
For more information on job details like attachments and notes in the mobile app see our useful user guide here
3. Display of Key Job Details
To improve job visibility, we’ve added new details to job screens in the mobile app including:
A new ‘Date Logged’ field allowing engineers to clearly see when the job was created
‘Estimated Appointment Date’ helping engineers manage their workload by viewing the expected appointment time
‘Service Type Frequency’ is now displayed against assets allowing engineers to easily understand when an asset is due for its next service
These details were previously only available in the back-office, but are now accessible on mobile, giving engineers better visibility and planning tools while on-site
See here for more information on job details and the mobile app
4. Company Document Search
Finding the right company document on the mobile has just got a lot easier
A new search and filter function has been added to the Company Documents area
Engineers can now search by document name, type, date added, expiry date, and description
Sorting options allow engineers to quickly find what they need, whether it’s a safety guide, technical spec or work policy
Making documents easy to find means less time searching and more time getting the job done - it’s sound (job)logic
See here for more info on company documents within Joblogic
Improvements
Non-Mandatory Parts Library Selection
Selecting a Parts Library when adding items and stock to a job is now optional on the mobile
Engineers no longer need to select a parts library when choosing a part
This change ensures the mobile app works the same way as the back-office, making stock and material management smoother for everyone
Bug Fixes
We’ve addressed a few issues in this release to improve your experience. See the fixes below:
An issue where the ‘Visit Recommendation’ field was displaying incorrect values for other visit details on the same job has been corrected.
After logging out and back into the app, selecting the Time Sheet button from the Menu screen was incorrectly redirecting users to the Home Page instead of the Time Sheet page. This now navigates correctly on the first attempt.
Thank you for your patience while we resolved these issues. We appreciate your feedback in helping us refine the app if you noticed and reported either of these problems.
That’s it for this month in the app but keep an eye out for our March 2025 release and let our support team know if you need any help with the above (0800 326 5561, Support@joblogic.com).
