Release Details:

1. New Refcom to F-Gas Setting 🌍

This release is a big one for any of our customers working with refrigerant gas and doing their bit to help protect the ozone layer as we now support multiple refrigerant schemes with a flexible new setting.

We know that not all businesses follow the same regulatory framework when it comes to refrigerant tracking. While many in the UK adhere to Refcom, others working across the EU and beyond are required to follow F-Gas standards. Until now, Joblogic has defaulted to Refcom terminology throughout the system, which works great for some, but leaves other users of our software having to work around mismatched labels and reports.

To resolve this, we’ve introduced a new configuration setting in the back-office under the Scheme Providers area. This allows you to choose whether your system follows Refcom or F-Gas's working processes and the system will adjust the terminology across key screens and workflows accordingly.

Once selected, this preference automatically carries through to the mobile app meaning engineers will now see the correct scheme labels, terms and audit tools based on how your business is set up.

Whether you’re Refcom-certified or operating under F-Gas, Joblogic now keeps your documentation, language, and compliance processes fully aligned reducing confusion, improving traceability and making life easier for everyone involved.

Key features include:

  • A new setting in the back-office which lets admins choose whether to use Refcom or F-Gas terminology across the system

  • Once selected, the chosen scheme updates labels, menus and audit-related language throughout the mobile app

  • Subcontractors and customers created can also be assigned to the relevant scheme during setup

  • Applicable mobile screens such as site information, audit tools and compliance views dynamically reflect the chosen scheme name 📱

Why this matters:
Refrigerant compliance is serious business. Using the wrong labels, even just in menus or reports can create confusion for auditors, engineers and customers alike. By giving you the ability to choose your scheme and have the mobile app reflect it automatically, we help ensure consistent documentation, cleaner audits and clearer compliance workflows across your entire operation📋🛢️

Bug Fixes 🛠🐛 ️

In addition our great new F-gas changes we made an array of bug fixes which help all engineers who use the system. See below for more details: ⬇️

Visit Listing Button Restored
We’ve resolved an issue where the “Accept All Visits” button had disappeared from the ‘All Visits’ and T’oday’s’ tabs. It’s now back and working as expected to help engineers confirm visits more efficiently.

Timesheet Hours Sync
We’ve fixed a mismatch between weekly timesheet hours on the mobile versus the back-office from the mobile’s side, ensuring both views now reflect accurate totals.

iOS Keyboard Overlap
We;ve corrected a bug where the iOS keyboard wouldn’t dismiss properly, blocking access to the Notes section. Users can now input and review notes without obstruction.

Jobs Not Processing
There was an issue where jobs logged from the mobile app appeared as “Not Processed” and failed to sync with the back-office. These jobs now show up correctly as intended.

Back Button Navigation
We had an intermittent issue where the ‘Back’ button disappeared from the Visit Notes, Link, and Attachment pages. This is now fixed, and the navigation is stable and consistent across all devices.

Survey Slider Display on Android
Finally, we’ve fixed a problem where the ‘noUiSlider’ question type in the electronic form Survey Designer wasn’t displaying correctly on Android devices. All of these supported question types now load and function as expected.

Thank you for your understanding and patience while we worked to address these issues and we apologise for any inconvenience that these may have caused as we worked to resolve them.

That’s it for this month in the app but keep an eye out for our September 2025 release 🎉

As always, your feedback helps shape future improvements so let us know if you have any!
