Release Details

1. Planner - Integrate Planner with External Calendars.

  • The ability to integrate the JL Planner with external calendars such Google and Apple calendars has been added.
  • By integrating the JL planner, engineer’s work schedule will be automatically updated on their mobile calendars.
  • Integration can be done in 2 ways –
    1. By adding the planner URL directly onto the calendar.
    2. Send an email with the integration activation link.

2. Planner – More Timeline Views and Features have been added.

  • A dropdown with different timeline views has been added – Day/Week/Month/Year.
  • Back-office users can drag and drop job cards to the day, week and month timeline views, allocate engineers and set the job times.
  • A colour coded “Capacity Indicator” is displayed next to the engineer’s name, indicating engineer’s available, working, non-productive and overtime hours.
  • All related Jobs and Quotes are linked to its main parent job and can be found under History > Related Works tab.
  • Related jobs and quotes are displayed in a hierarchical sequence for better understanding.
  • Jobs with related works will have a Link/Chain icon next to the job number on the all jobs page.
  • Users can get a preview of the job and the related works by clicking on the quick view Icon.

4. Back-Office – Changes made to User Role and Permissions setup.

  • New “Manage User Roles” tab has been added under Settings > Staff page.
  • The Primary User can pre-create different User Roles and grant relevant Permissions.
  • Ability to Add, Delete and Re-Assign User Roles and Permissions anytime.
  • Changes made to the design and layout of the User Role and Permissions part of the page for better user experience.

Improvements, Modifications & Bug Fixes

Improvements and Modifications

  • Further work has been implemented into the fully accommodating auditing feature. An “Audit” tab has been added to the History tab of the Customer and Quotes page to view Audit records of the respective quote/customer.
  • Nominal Codes can be added to quote value lines during the invoice stage.

Bug Fixes

  • The issue with Quote Value Line not showing on Customer Group Invoice page, has been fixed.
