Introduction
The Import Job Notifications app adds an optional notification setting to the existing Job Import process. It allows you to control whether configured email and SMS notifications are triggered when jobs are imported.
Once the app is active, an additional Send Notifications field is added to the Job Import template. This can be set individually for each imported job, giving you control over which jobs should trigger notifications to subscribed Customer or Site contacts.
This guide explains how to use the Send Notifications field when importing jobs and how the different values affect notification behaviour.
Importing Jobs with Notifications
Navigate to Jobs > All Jobs and click Import in the top right.

When the Import Job Notifications app is active, the Job Import template will include an additional Send Notifications field.
For each row in the template, you can set this field to True or False depending on whether notifications should be triggered for that imported job.

- True – Notifications configured for the imported job state will be sent to subscribed Customer or Site contacts.
- False or blank – No notifications will be sent, preserving the existing silent import behaviour.
This allows you to decide on a job-by-job basis whether the import should trigger the configured email or SMS notifications.
