Mobile Release: Week Commencing 6th May 2024

Features scheduled for release from 06/05/24 via a staged roll out. This means that changes may not take effect on the mobile application (app) straight away but the latest version including the new changes can be manually downloaded from the App/Play store (Version 1.155.0 on both IOS and Android), if required. The functionality detailed will not be available in any version of the mobile application until this date. However, please note that this an ETA and may be subject to change.

Release Details

1. Warning for Expired documents

• To coincide with last week’s web release, the mobile app has been updated to reflect the new document management feature
• When you log a job on the app, a warning will now pop up on or after the expiry date of a document if it has been marked as mandatory for the selected engineers.
• You can still choose to continue to log the job at this stage if you wish too.

2. Travel Home update

• We’ve updated the way travel home works to make sure all jobs are calculated correctly
• If you had previously started travelling home, but then start travelling to another job, or start travelling home on another job, you’ll receive a pop-up warning to inform you of this.
• You’ll get the option to set your status date and mileage for the old job and then proceed with the new job. This will mark the old job as ‘At Home’ so everything is in order and nothing is forgotten.

3. Form Name update

• When a form is completed & downloaded via the app, the file name will now be saved as the Form Name.
• This will make sure you can find the correct file easily and quickly in future and if you need to upload it

4. AXA Jobs module

• To end this week’s release, we have a super exciting addition to the mobile app! We’ve added the AXA job module to the app for quicker turnaround and more efficient operations. 🎉
• Engineers will now receive a notification when an AXA job is sent to the back office
• They can Accept/Decline within the app and then receive a visit accordingly.
• Once a visit is completed, engineers can also complete the AXA job on the app, and create an invoice as needed.

Bug fixes

• An issue with text duplications in forms has now been resolved
• Editing images on your IOS device will now work correctly
• .msg files will now open without issue
