Joblogic Release: October 2025

JL Web features scheduled for release on 16/10/2025 and mobile app (application) features for 21/10/2025 (Version 1.174.0 on both IOS and Android). The functionality detailed will not be available in the applicable area of the system until these dates. However, please note that these are ETA’s and may be subject to change.

While we don’t have any feature releases for you this month, we have been putting our time to good use by making some improvements designed to improve your general workflows and by getting any troublesome bugs sorted out. See below for details.

Improvements

Azure AD (Active Directory) Integration – Profile Access Fix

We’ve fixed an issue where users needed full “Staff View” permissions just to access their own profiles. New “Profile – View” and “Profile – Edit” permissions now allow users to manage their own details without viewing other staff records.

Incomplete Task Reasons – Back Office Library Added

Previously, custom “incomplete task reasons” entered on mobile weren’t visible or manageable in the back office. We’ve now introduced a dedicated library so admins can view, edit, and maintain these reasons centrally.

Bug Fixes

Bulk Form Downloader – Performance Improvements
We’ve improved the performance of the Joblogic Marketplace Bulk Form Downloader App, speeding up form generation for emails and direct downloads. This reduces wait times, especially for high-volume users.

Sage 50 VAT Sync – Overridden Values Now Export Correctly
Overridden VAT values on purchase invoice line items weren’t syncing properly to Sage 50, which meant some users had to manually re-enter invoices. This has now been fixed so VAT overrides carry through as expected.

Quote Deposits via the Customer Portal – Upgrade Issue Resolved
We’ve fixed a bug where quotes paid in full following a deposit via the customer portal weren’t being upgraded correctly. The system now recognises the payment and upgrades the quote to a job as intended.

Selling Rates – Hidden Trades at Low Zoom Levels
Some users couldn’t view all engineer trades in the Selling Rates screen unless their browser was set to 100% zoom. The layout has now been corrected for better display across different screen resolutions.

Mobile App Improvement due 21/10/2025

Quick Complete – Task Review Step Added

We’ve improved the ‘Quick Complete’ workflow on the mobile so that any remaining tasks or subtasks are flagged before an engineer can complete the job visit. Mandatory tasks must now be completed (or a reason given as to why not), helping to avoid missed actions.
